Golden State Warriors head coach
Steve Kerr received a
technical foul after calling the referee for not giving a foul in favour of his
team.
In a video that appeared on the social media platform X —
previously known as Twitter — the 58-year-old was furious as the referee
failed to call a foul after
Stephen Curry was hit on the head during the match
against the Memphis Grizzlies. That resulted in Kerr receiving a technical foul
from the match referee.
The match ended in favour of the Warriors as they managed to
defeat the Grizzlies with a score of 121-101 at the FedExForum on Friday. It
was the Warriors' third win in the last five matches which still kept them in
the fifth position in the Pacific Standings with 21 wins and 24 defeats.
The star of the match for the winning team was power forward
Jonathan Kuminga who ended up registering 29 points along with six rebounds and
four assists.
Curry, on the other
hand, had a more than decent game as well and he ended up registering 20 points
to go with six rebounds and six assists. However, it was the lowest amount of
points registered by the 35-year-old in the last seven matches.
