The
Memphis Grizzlies finished a trade that sends
Xavier Tillman to the
Boston Celtics. The Grizzlies received in return two second-round picks. Boston will send a 2027 second-round pick via Atlanta Hawks and a 2030 secon-round pick via Dallas Mavericks, according to ESPN sources.
Boston acquires Tillman, a young and versatile frontcourt player, giving them depth to contend for a championship. They needed a big man to preserve Kristaps Porzingis and let him rest more minutes.
The Grizzlies on the other hand, continue increasing their future lottery picks. With the previous trade in which Steven Adams was traded to the Houston Rockets, they now have 5 second-round picks for the upcoming years.
