Golden State Warriors are reportedly not interested in
trading veteran point guard
Chris Paul in the ongoing transfer window.
The ongoing mid-season transfer window is coming to an end
on Thursday as teams are ready for one final push to strengthen their squads for
the rest of the campaign.
There were rumours regarding the future of Paul with the
Warriors but as per transfer insider Jake Fischer, he will stay with his current
side for the remainder of the season.
Earlier in the campaign, it was reported that the Warriors
tried to trade Paul to Toronto Raptors but it did not happen as they wanted to
sign Pascal Siakam who was not keen on joining the franchise.
The development shows that the 38-year-old remains an
integral part of the Warriors dressing room, despite moving towards the end of
his career.
Paul is having a decent season for the franchise where he is
averaging 8.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game.
In the team’s previous outing, the North Carolina-born registered
eight points to go with six rebounds and four assists. His best outing this
season came in the match against the Dallas Mavericks where he registered 24
points to go with two rebounds and six assists.
