Tonight’s game between
Atlanta Hawks and

Trae Young and the Georgia Team came up victorious in overtime against the
Steve Kerr team 141-134 at State Farm Arena.
Stephen Curry had a historic game tonight, as he tied Kobe
Bryant for the most points by a player at age 35 or older. Curry was fantastic
tonight and all season, averaging 27.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5 assists and
being named an All-Star for the 10th time in his career. Despite the
4-time champions amazing performance,
Dejounte Murray’s clutch shot to end
regulation tied the game up at 123, and Atlanta pulled away in the extra
period.
Trae Young led the Hawks in this game with 35 points and 6
assists on 7 made three pointers. Jalen Johnson had a huge game, recording 21
points, 13 rebounds, and 8 assists while Dejounte Murray scored 19 points along
with 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Onyeka Okongwu had a massive 22-point, 16
rebound double-double off the bench.
Stephen Curry had 60 points tonight with 10 made three
pointers. This is 2 points fewer than his career-high of 62 that he got back on
January 3, 2021 against the Portland Trail Blazers. Jonathan Kuminga scored 16
points while rookie Brandin Podziemski scored 15 points with 11 rebounds and 5
assists off the bench.
This win improves the Hawks to 22-27 on the season, which makes
them 10th seed in the Eastern Conference. Atlanta is 6-4 over their
last 10 games and currently on a 4-game winning streak. Their next game will be
on Monday night against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Meanwhile, this loss drops the Warriors to 21-25, which
makes them 12th in the Western Conference. Golden State is 4-6 over their last
10 games and will face off against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night.
