Golden State Warriors veteran power forward
Draymond Green
believes that the franchise ‘unlimited’ amount of potential.
The Warriors are going through a bit of a rough season as
they are placed in the fifth position in the Pacific Division with 28 wins and
26 defeats.
Green was recently quoted in a report where he expressed
optimism about the success of the team, largely because of the presence of young players
who are putting in impressive performances.
"I think we're on a great trajectory," he said.
"You always hope that the young guys take a step in the right direction,
and as we can see, Jonathan Kuminga [Brandin Podziemski], Moses [Moody], Trayce
[Jackson-Davis].
"Those young guys, they've unlocked this team. So, I
think the possibilities are endless, I think this team has an unlimited amount
of potential, and we're trending in the right direction at the right
time."
Despite being placed in the fifth position in the division, the Warriors are
on a bit of a roll as they have won seven out of the last eight matches. Their
next match is against the Charlotte Hornets at the Chase Center in San
Francisco on Friday. The Hornets are going through a tough campaign as they are
placed in the fourth position in the Southeast Division with just 14 wins and
41 defeats.
