Victor Wembanyama has produced
a remarkable performance for the side in the recent outing against the Toronto
Raptors.
The Spurs went on to secure a much-needed win against the Raptors
with a score of 122-109 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
Wembanyama was the star performer for the winning team as he
ended up registering 27 points to go with 14 rebounds, 10 blocks and five assists. It was
the second consecutive match where he ended up registering 20 or more points. That’s
not it as he also contributed with five assists and two steals.
With that performance, the Le Chesnay-born Wembanyama is now
contributing 20.3 points, 10 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game for the Spurs
this season.
Wembanyama's best outing this season came in the match against
the Phoenix Suns where he ended up registering 38 points to go with 10 rebounds
and two assists.
He was well-supported by the shooting guard by the Devin
Vassell who ended up registering 25 points to go with three rebounds and six
assists.
For the losing side, power forward Kelly Olynyk was the star
performer as he ended up registering 17 points to go with five rebounds and two
assists.
