VIDEO: Anthony Edwards MONSTER game against the Suns! Cooked Kevin Durant!

The NBA Playoffs are on their way. In one of the most anticipated Western Conference first round series, the Minnesota Timberwolves showed up tonight for a statement win against the Phoenix Suns. Anthony Edwards played an outstanding game, owning Phoenix's defense. 'Playoff Ant' has arrived and helped to destroy the Suns 120-95.

The young and talented guard was excellent last season in the first round series against the Denver Nuggets despite losing against them in five games. This year, Ant elevated his game to new heights and today he looked absolutely ready to take his team deep into the postseason.

Throughout the 2023-24 season, Edwards played 79 games, averaging 25.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.1 steals. His conditioning is elite, being one of the NBA stars that played the most games the past campaign.

Tonight, the 22-year-old was a problem to who ever had to guard him, especially the Suns superstar, Kevin Durant. Both of them were very efficient on offense but Ant exposed KD on the other side of the floor on several ocations. But Durant wasn't the only one who suffered him. Edward's third quarter was so good that he scored on almost every member of Phoenix's squad, dropping 18 points on them. Grayson Allen, Devin Booker, Royce O'Neale. He was unstoppable with his mid-range shots, hitting all kind of difficult shots and exchanging a few words with KD.

33 points for the skilled guard this evening, including 4 three-pointers. These two teams will meet again next Tuesday in Minnesota. The Suns will need to do some adjustments in order to properly contain Edwards, otherwise this series is going to be a short one.
