Denver Nuggets star center
Nikola Jokic was seen pressuring referees during the game against the
Milwaukee Bucks to make
Giannis Antetokounmpo shoot faster.
In the match where the Nuggets came out on top with a score of
113-107 at the Ball Arena on Sunday, the 28-year-old could be seen lobbying the
match officials about something.
On social media, it has been claimed that Jokic lobbied with
match officials into calling a 10-second free throw violation of Giannis Antetokounmpo but that can not
be verified from any official source.
The Nuggets came out on top, which was their second win
under the new coach Doc Rivers and their fifth in the last six matches, largely
because of the third quarter where they outscored the opposition with a score
of 26-19.
For the winning team, point guard Jamal Murray was the star
performer as he ended up registering 35 points to go with two rebounds and five
assists. Jokic also had a good game for the Nuggets as he registered 25 points
to go with 16 rebounds and 12 assists, both highest in the match. Out of those
16 rebounds, 15 were of the defensive nature.
For the losing team, power forward Antetokounmpo was
the star performer as he ended up registering 29 points to go with 12 rebounds
and four assists.
