The All-Star weekend has officially started, and we already have a big surprise, as for the Rising Star Championship, Team Detlef shocked Team Pau in Semifinal 2.
If something is certain, is that all of this guys are competitors. They've been hooping since they were kids, and to get to this level, this guys always want to win. But it's also true that the NBA rookies and sophomores, especially guys like Victor Wembanyama and Brandon Miller, they are already rising stars in today's NBA. This means that they already have signed big contracts and endorsements.
Different situation for the G-League squad, that really wanted to take advantage and use the stage of the NBA All-Star weekend to promote themselves, trying to earn their place (and their contract) in the best league in the world. Such was the case for Mac McClung, Ron Holland and Matas Buzelis, names that will be in the next 2024 NBA Draft.
