VIDEO: Nikola Jokic's spider sense makes Austin Reaves bite the dust!

Another wonderful display of Nikola Jokic last night at the Crypto.com Arena. The serbian phenom is just too much fun to watch.

Yesterday the Denver Nuggets visited the Los Angeles Lakers and the Joker was spectacular once again. We often praise the basketball IQ and the passing ability of Jokic, stating that sometimes it looks like he has eyes on the back of his head that allows him to always find the open teammate.

In this example, we can see this "skill" twice. Yes, he finds Michael Porter Jr open for an easy three, but how about the seconds before that?

Jokic is posting up his defender at the top of the key, with his back to the basket. That's the moment when Austin Reaves decides to gamble and go for the steal. There's no way that the Joker could've seen him going for the ball, it's more like he had a sixth sense that alerted him at the right time to evade Reaves' attempt and then throw the pass to MPJ.

The reigning champions defeated the Lakers 114-106. Jokic finished with 24 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists. The serbian appears as the runner-up to win the MVP again, this one being his third after obtaining this award in 2021 and 2022.
