Last night, at the Crypto.com Arena, the Denver Nuggets and
Los Angeles Lakers faced each other, with victory for the team led by Nikola Jokic. During the match, a situation occurred that later generated some commotion on X (formerly known as Twitter). The question arises and we want to ask the public: was the pass to Anthony Davis intentional or was it simply an accident?
Evidently, those who have followed
LeBron James' career know that the King is gifted in practically every aspect of the game. However, if there's one thing that the league's all-time leading scorer has made clear, even since his days at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, it's his focus on teamwork and ball distribution. He has always enjoyed sharing the ball with his teammates.
LeBron's court vision is supreme, and it's no surprise that, in addition to leading in points, he also ranks among the top 5 passers in NBA history, currently holding the fourth position with 10,759 assists, just shy of 1000 to catch up to Chris Paul and snatch his place on the podium.
In this particular case, controversy arose because it seems like the ball catches him off guard in the midst of his movement. But none of that, gentlemen, it's another masterful assist by the four-time NBA champion. Almost like in volleyball, he just deflects it towards a Davis charging fiercely towards the hoop.
Let's hope we have many more years of LeBron in the league; for now, let's enjoy it!
