In an intense, hard-fought battle at the KIA Center in Orlando, the
Los Angeles Clippers survived thanks to the clutch performances of
Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. The Magic played huge defense and tried everything but failed on stopping PG in that last shot.
We witnessed a great basketball game between two teams that stand almost at the same spot on their respective conferences. The Clippers, now recovered with Russell Westbrook back, are finding their rhythm again.
Orlando continues to display a phenomenal defense, this time, in a duel against two very good offensive weapons such as PG and Kawhi.
It all came down to the last shot for LA. With the Clippers up by one point, PG takes charge and goes against
Jonathan Isaac on a 1-on-1. Isaac, being the remarkable defender that he is, held his ground against George, but finally PG13 had the last laugh. First he took him to the paint and then hits an outstanding turnaround shot with just enough hangtime to avoid Isaac's block. Excellent effort by the Magic's wing, just better execution for Paul George.
