The NBA competition will resume on Thursday, and with that we will be attending to the final part of the 2023/24 regular season.
Boston Celtics have been on top and looking like the favorites to the championship up until now, but, what about the rest of the teams that wanna make a push to the playoffs?
We have decided to make a list of the five teams that will have it "easier" to finish the regular season with a good result. That is, the five franchises with the easiest schedule for the remainder of the 'Regular Season' based on the winning percentage of their rivals. And, precisely, the Celtics are among these teams, which further enhances their balance, as they have had to play one of the toughest schedules to date.
The five teams with the easiest schedule for the remainder of the season.
- Orlando Magic (.435 in 27 games remaining)
- Brooklyn Nets (.460 in 28 games remaining)
- Boston Celtics (.463 in 27 remaining games)
- Miami Heat (.464 in 27 games remaining)
- Memphis Grizzlies (.467 in 26 games remaining)
The main thing that stands out is that the first four teams are from the East, which shows that, it still is the less competitive Conference of the two, although in recent years several teams have managed to be competing for the top playoff spots.
In addition, Orlando, Miami and Brooklyn will be playing for the playoff positions in the East in the final stretch of the regular season, which could be key to achieve their respective goals.
The Grizzlies, on the other hand, are the only team that's practically out of any playoff contention, so they will not be able to take much advantage of their schedule, or at least it will not help them at all.
Finally, Boston will be looking to secure their first place in the Eastern Conference as soon as possible to rest their stars and arrive in shape for a playoffs where they hope to win it all.
