Phoenix Suns star forward
Kevin Durant believes that there
is no reason why he should not be in the conversation regarding the Greatest player
Of All Time (GOAT) in the history of the NBA.
The 35-year-old has been an incredible servant of the game for
nearly the last two decades where he has multiple NBA titles as well. He was also twice
named NBA Finals MVP in 2017 and 2018.
Durant was recently quoted in a report where he stated that
there is no reason why he should be in the discussion regarding the actual NBA
GOAT player. "Why shouldn't I be in that? That's the question you
should ask. Why not? What haven't I done?” he asked.
Durant is having a fabulous season once again where he is averaging
28.9 points per game, fifth best in the league. This is the 17th
consecutive season where he is averaging more than 25 points per game, an
astonishing record to say the least. To go with that, he is also averaging 6.2
rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.
In the previous Suns game against the Indian Pacers, the
Washington-born ended up registering 40 points including nine rebounds and two
assists. It was his best outing in a game this season.
