Bruce Brown has been through a lot during the last several months. Just last summer, he was a part of the Denver Nuggets as they won their first championship. Then he was sent down to the Indiana Pacers but he only remained there for a few months. Now a member of the
Toronto Raptors, it is assumed that Brown will be traded before the upcoming deadline. But where will he go?
Brown has a lot to offer any team he moves to. He has a strong offensive presence on the floor but he's also great a defense too. He's a ball-handler who can also shut down opponents all over the court and that is part of what makes him so attractive.
What do the Raptors want in exchange for Brown? Insiders say Toronto are demanding a first-round pick for the young player. Because of a trade rule written into the NBA, that means the Milwaukee Bucks are not capable of getting Brown because they can't trade either of their first-round picks, unless they get a third team involved.
The New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers have also reportedly taken an interest in Brown but they might just be involved as a third team to get Brown from Toronto from Milwaukee.
Milwaukee might want Brown but they'd have to do a lot to make it happen. They would have to create a three-team trade with many moving pieces, but it could be worth it for a player of Brown's caliber.
