Boston Celtics star
Kristaps Porzingis achieved yet another milestone
after his heroics against the Housten Rockets.
The Celtics went on to win the contest with a score of
116-107, despite staying behind in the third and fourth quarters. Porzingis was the
star performer for the franchise as he ended up registering 32 points including
six rebounds and one assist.
The 28-year-old became the first Celtic player ever to record
five blocks and six three pointers in a single game. After the match, Porzingis was full of praise for the Celtic
supporters who supported the side in an away contest.
"Honestly, it's incredible," he said. "We're
on the road and we get this support as if we're at home. I cannot think of
another fan base in the NBA that is like this -- it's absolutely a blessing to
play in front of these fans."
Porzingis is having
an impressive season on the court where he is averaging 19.1 points and 6.8 assists
per game which is the third-best numbers by a Celtic player as he is only
behind Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
His best outing this season came against
the Detroit Pistons where he ended up registering 35 points including eight
rebounds.
