With tonight’s triple-double, Nikola Jokic has now recorded a triple-double against every team he has faced in his career. Jokic becomes the third player to accomplish this all-time, joining Russell Westbrook and LeBron James.
Two-time NBA champion Bill Walton believes that Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic is the ‘best player in the world’.
The 29-year-old is often regarded as one of the best players in the competition alongside the Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry and Dallas Mavericks Luka Doncic.
Walton was recently quoted in a report where he stated that in his opinion, Jokic is the best player in the world.
“His celebration of life through basketball, his focus on the team … he’s better than perfect. He’s Nikola Jokic,” he said “He’s the best player in the world. I watch a lot of Denver Nuggets basketball, and every time I watch, I just get a smile on my face. It’s fantastic.”
Jokic has been one of the star performers for the Nuggets this season where he is contributing 26 points per game which is the 13th best in the competition. That’s not it as he is also contributing 12.2 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game — fourth-best this season.
In his most recent outing for the Nuggets, Jokic had a fabulous time against the Portland Trail Blazers where he ended up registering 29 points to go with 15 rebounds and 14 assists.
His best outing this season came in the match against the San Antonio Spurs where he registered 39 points to go with 11 rebounds and nine assists.
