Milwaukee Bucks' newly-appointed head coach
Doc Rivers has
been trolled on social media after his team’s defeat against the Denver
Nuggets.
The 62-year-old has been recently appointed by the franchise
after the sacking of Adrian Griffin despite having some impressive performances.
In his first match as the head coach, the Bucks lost the
match despite having a double-digit lead at one time. That led the fans to
troll him on the social media platform X — previously known as Twitter.
It was the Bucks' second defeat in the last three matches.
For the winning team, the star of the show was point guard Jamal Murray who ended
up registering 35 points including two rebounds and five assists.
On the other hand, for the Bucks, point forward Giannis
Antetokounmpo had a great day as he ended up registering 29 points including 12
rebounds and four assists.
Rivers is a renowned coach in the history of the NBA as he also managed
four franchises before taking over the job at Bucks. He worked with the Orlando
Magic from 1999-2003, the Boston Celtics between 2004-2013, the Los Angeles Clippers
between 2013-2020 and the Philadelphia 76ers between 2020-2023.
Under his coaching, Celtics lifted the NBA title in 2008
after beating the Los Angeles Lakers in the best-of-seven finals with a score
of 4-2.
