Damian Lillard’s recent tribute video from the Portland
Trail Blazers left fans moved on social media. The 33-year-old came back to face his former team while
playing for the Milwaukee Bucks in the match on Wednesday at the Moda Center.
Before the start of the match, the Trail Blazers posted a
tribute video on their account on the social media platform X — previously
known as Twitter — for Lillard who left the franchise after spending 11 seasons
which left the fans emotional as well.
Lillard’s new team Bucks ended up losing the contest as the Trail
Blazers with a score of 119-116. Despite the result, they are still placed on
top of the Central Standings with 32 wins and 16 defeats.
During his 11 seasons with the Trail Blazers, Lillard ended
up registering more than 19,000 points. In the 2018-19 season, he ended up
registering 2,067 points which was the most he did in a single season.
In the match on Wednesday, Lillard registered 25 points with
the help of six rebounds and seven assists. This season, the California-born is
having an impressive time on the court for the Bucks where he is averaging 25.1
points per game. To go with that, he is also contributing 4.3 rebounds and 6.8
assists per game.
