Dallas Mavericks are one of the franchises on a rise in the recent past as they have won six in a row and are now placed on the second position in the Southwest Standings.
In the recently concluded transfer window, some of the Maverick players were linked with a move away from the franchise but they managed to stay.
We are bringing you four such players who have decided to stay with the Mavericks and are now contributing to the team’s cause.
Jaden Hardy (Guard)
Guard Jaden Hardy was one of the players to be linked away from the franchise. The 21-year-old is averaging 8.2 points, two rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. His current contract’s terms are set to be changed from next year where he will guaranteed to earn only a chunk of his current income.
Maxi Kleber (Power Forward)
Power forward Maxi Kleber was also linked with a move away. The 32-year-old is averaging 5.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. His current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2026.
Josh Green (Shooting Guard)
Shooting guard was one of the high-profile players who was linked with a move away. The 23-year-old averages nine points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game this season. His deal was extended by the franchise by exercising their right in the summer of 2023 with an increased salary for two years.
Tim Hardaway Jr. (Small Forward)
Small forward, Tim Hardaway Jr., was the most high-profile player feared to be leaving the franchise in the recently concluded transfer window. The 31-year-old averages 17.3 points per game which is the third-best by a Mavericks player this season. To go with that, he averages 3.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. His current deal is set to expire in the summer of next season.
