Miami Heat’s new signing
Terry Rozier believes he is perfect
to fit into his new team’s culture despite not having a great debut against the Memphis
Grizzlies.
Heat ended up on the losing side in the contest with a score
of 105-96 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida on Wednesday. That result left
the Heat still top of the table in the Southeast Standings with 24 wins and 20
defeats.
Talking after the match, Rozier admitted that things were
not perfect on the night for him and the team but believes that he feels he is
the right fit to become a successful Heat player.
"We know things are not going to be perfect right
away," he said. "You see the assessment of the team and see how
things are going. But I feel like I fit the Heat culture and I'm coming right
in to pick things up on the defensive side and let everything else take care of
itself. We're all basketball players, so we'll figure it out."
Rozier played 29 minutes in the match where he ended up
registering nine points to go with four rebounds and five assists. He is
averaging 23.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game this season.
