Karl-Anthony Towns was the biggest part of the Western Conference team on Sunday night's All-Star Game. The Minnesota Timberwolves star posted 50 points, leading his team even though they came up short in a big way against All-Star MVP Damian Lillard and the East.
It was a wonderful and flashy performance from Towns. Speaking of flashy, the All-Star was spotted after the game carrying around a Hermes bag that is worth more than $23,000. Decked out in all black with his girlfriend Jordyn Woods, Towns looked happy with his performance.
On Sunday night, Towns became only the fourth player in NBA history to score 50 points in an All-Star Game. He tied with Stephen Curry from 2022 for the third-most points in a game, behind only Jayson Tatum from 2023 and Anthony Davis from 2017.
Even though he didn't even appear in the first quarter, Towns became the central force in the West. In the final quarter alone, Towns posted 31 points, which is the most in a single quarter in all of All-Star Game history.
But that wasn't enough to eliminate the Eastern Conference stars, who ended up winning 211-186. That's the most points scored in an All-Star Game. Despite that blowout, Towns was celebrated for his wonderful output.
This is just the latest great thing to happen to Towns this season. His team is currently the best in the West and there is a lot of speculation about the Timberwolves possibly reaching the Finals this year.
On Sunday night, Karl-Anthony Towns looked like a million bucks both on and off the basketball court.
