Kyle Lowry was sent to the Charlotte Hornets, in a trade that landed Terry Rozier in Southbeach, to play for the Miami Heat.
Former 2019 NBA Champion, Kyle Lowry, was part of a deal that sent him and a 2027 first round pick to Charlotte for Miami to acquire Terry Rozier.
Now, sources inform that there's a chance that the Hornets could buyout Lowry's contract if there's no chance to move the veteran point guard in another trade.
The veteran point guard will be earning $29.6 million for the final year of his contract, and sources tell that Charlotte is probably going to buy out the remainder of it, allowing Kyle to choose his next destination.
This could be the similar to last year's trade in which Charlotte acquired Reggie Jackson in exchange for Mason Plumlee, but waived him after the deal was made.
