LeBron James received recognition from a major pop star during recent game

There are many fans of the Los Angeles Lakers but few are as famous as one that showed up during a recent game against the Brooklyn Nets.

During that tough loss, fans online noticed that pop star Olivia Rodrigo was sitting courtside enjoy the game. She was spotted alongside Tate McRae and both received a lot of attention from the press and fans at home.

Like many other Lakers fans, both Rodrigo and McRae were disappointed and shocked by the Lakers' stunning loss to the Nets.

Some people online were wondering what Rodrigo was thinking of as she sat so close to LeBron and his teammates. Was she disappointed by his output or in awe of his skills?

Of course, Rodrigo isn't the only major celebrity who follows the Lakers. Over the years, stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Ferrell, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and, of course, Jack Nicholson, have attended games for the purple and gold. They have perhaps the biggest celebrity fanbase in the entire NBA.

Rodrigo picked a bad night to attend the game because the Lakers were taken down by the Nets, 130-112. It was once again a sold out crowd and every fan was left clueless and disappointed by the lacking output from their team.

Thankfully, the team was able to bounce back on Sunday night and put down the Portland Trail Blazers. Still, their record is just an even 22-22 and they are the ninth team in the West, which means they have quite a ways to go if they want to secure a spot in the playoffs.
