Trade Deadline:
Phoenix Suns are in contention to sign
Charlotte Hornets forward
Miles Bridges before the end of the transfer window.
The ongoing transfer window in the NBA is set to conclude on
February 08 as teams are now trying to finalise their strategy for the
remainder of the season.
As per the latest report, the Suns are eager to trade Hornets
striker Bridges to strengthen their contingent in order to improve their
rankings in the Pacific Standings where they are placed on the second position after
winning 25 matches and suffering 18 defeats.
It will be interesting to see whether the Suns will be able
to persuade the Hornets to sell one of their star players, especially as they
are having below below-par season as they are placed fourth in the Southeast
Standings with just 10 wins and 31 defeats.
Bridges is having a more than decent time on the court where
he is averaging 20.9 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game. In the team’s
previous outing, he ended up scoring 28 points with five rebounds and two
assists.
It was the second time Bridges ended up scoring 28 points
this season as he did the same in the match against the Denver Nuggets with
nine rebounds and five assists to his name.
