NBA trade insider has revealed that the Golden State
Warriors are ready to move two players but they are not
Draymond Green or Klay
Thompson.
There have been reports that the Warriors are looking to
offload at least one out of two of those players in the ongoing transfer window
which is coming to an end on February 08.
However, trade insider Brian Windhorst, who has been recently
quoted in a report, stated that the Warriors are ready to let two players leave but they are
not looking to let either of those players, instead, they are open to offloading
the likes of Chris Paul or Andrew Wiggins.
"The
Golden State Warriors have no interest in moving
Draymond Green or
Klay Thompson before the
trade deadline,” he said. “[Warriors]
could look into trading Chris Paul, who is on an expiring contract, or Andrew
Wiggins, who has had a difficult season with the team."
Thompson, who plays as a shooting guard, has been an
important figure for the Warriors in the ongoing campaign where he is averaging
17.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
On the other hand, Green, who plays as a power forward, is
averaging 9.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game for the Warriors
this season.
