The
Los Angeles Clippers forward
Paul George has revealed he
was approached by famous rapper and singer
Nicki Minaj to feature in a music video.
The 33-year-old was recently quoted in a report where he
stated that he was approached by the famous singer to feature in a video a
couple of years back but he refused the offer as he was more focused on
playing.
“You know what’s funny, this was maybe like a year or two
ago, Nicki Minaj reached out for me to be in her music video,” he said. “I
don’t know, I looked at Daniela, Daniela looked at me, ay, I ain’t going to be
able to do it. I’m playing she was excited about the opportunity too but I
declined. I think at the time it was just a scheduling conflict.”
George is having a fabulous season for the Clippers where he
is averaging 22.1 points per game, the second-best by a player in the franchise.
To go with that he is also contributing 5.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.
His best outing this
season came in the match against the Oklahoma City Thunder back in January where
he ended up registering 38 points to go with seven rebounds and five assists.
