In a rematch of the 2021 NBA Finals, it was the runner-ups that came out victorious tonight. Devin Booker put on a shooting clinic as he helped the Phoenix Suns defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 114-106 at Footprint Center.

After a slow start battling injuries, the Phoenix Suns have turned things around as of late. The team from Arizona acquired 3-time All-Star Bradley Beal and formed a new big 3 with him, Devin Booker, and Kevin Durant. Coming into the season they were considered title contenders, and while things didn’t go exactly as planned, those goals are still very much in reach.

This trio is capable of scoring 100 points any given night, which is scary for league. The offensive firepower that these 3 bring is unmatched and with the trade deadline coming up, it will be interesting to see if Phoenix makes any moves to solidify this roster for a playoff push.

Booker led the way tonight with his 32 points on 57% shooting. KD had 28 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 2 blocks while Bradley Beal recorded 25 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.

For Milwaukee, Giannis Antetokounmpo had 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists. Malik Beasley recorded 22 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists while Pat Connaughton finished with 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists. 3-time All-Star Khris Middleton only played 8 minutes tonight before leaving the game with an ankle injury.

This win improves the Suns to 30-21, which makes them 6th in the Western Conference. Phoenix is 7-3 over their last 10 games and currently on a 2-game winning streak. They will look to keep things going on Thursday night when they face off against the Utah Jazz.

Meanwhile, this loss drops the Bucks to 33-18, which makes them 3rd in the Eastern Conference and 0.5 games behind the 2nd seeded Cleveland Cavaliers. Milwaukee is 5-5 over their last 10 games and currently on a 2-game losing streak. Their next game will be on Thursday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
