NBA draft for the 2024-25 season is less than four months
away and teams are already planning which players they would like to sign next
season to strengthen their contingents.
Every draft brings new and younger players into the limelight
which keeps the competition for the remaining players tough.
This year, one player who will remain the focus of a lot of franchises
will be
Dalton Knecht. The 22-year-old currently plays for the Tennessee
Volunteers college team and has been a star at that level.
The six-feet six-inch tall guard is having a fabulous season
for his current team where he is averaging 21.4 points per game to go with 4.8
rebounds and 1.8 assists.
What’s more impressive about him is his willingness to try
three-pointers, something that makes him an interesting prospect to have in the
side. Knecht, currently, is shooting 47.4 % from the floor and 40.5 % from
three, very impressive for someone who has yet to become a professional basketball
player.
In his most recent outing against the Kentucky Wildcats, the
North Dakota-born ended up registering 40 points to go with four rebounds and
one assist. Interestingly, he ended up registering nearly 50 per cent of the team’s
total points on the night.
