Playing in a top-level stadium, a ground or an arena is a
dream for most athletes. It is no secret that playing at such venues
would not be possible for the majority of the athletes and therefore, whoever ends
up playing there feels privileged.
According to a recent report published in the Medium, such
dreams can be completed in the NBA where common citizens can rent the whole arena
without becoming a pro.
It was reported that the arenas cost between $21,000 - $35,000
per night. The report further stated that arenas’ price varies from city to city.
New York Knicks arena, because of being placed in the Madison
Square area in New York which is often regarded as one of the most expensive areas
in the country, is likely to be the most expensive one for the people are who interested
in renting the arena to complete one of their biggest dreams. Recently, a group
of 20 fans of the
Toronto Raptors rented the Paycom Arena which is the home of
Raptors.
Even though the Nicks’ arena might be the most expensive
when it comes to rent, the most costly arena to be built in the NBA is the Chase
Center. The arena was built four years back in 2019 and it cost around $1.4
billion. It is used by the
Golden State Warriors as the home venue.
