San Antonio Spurs' head coach, Gregg Popovich said that the team's 1st pick of the draft, Victor Wembanyama could be increasing his time on court next week.
Wembanyama has been on minute restriction for a few weeks now. The star player of the Spurs wasn't playing back-to-back games either, since mid December.
"Not by next game (at Philadelphia on Monday night), but perhaps after that," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said when asked when Wembanyama might be able to play more.
Since December 17th, the french star hasn't seen more than 27:45 minutes of action. In addition, he has sat out one game in three separate instances in this period of time, when facing back-to-back matchups.
Hopefully we get to see more of this one of a kind player and witness his development as one of the NBA's upcoming sensations.
