Golden State improves to 42-34 with this win and widen the gap between them and the Rockets as they now hold a 4 game lead for the last play-in spot. This was a huge victory for the Warriors as they were able to improve their chances of making the play-in tournament and solidifying their spot in the top 10.
After a scare from the young Texan team, this dynasty has turned things around as they have won 6 games in a row. They will look to keep this momentum up tomorrow against the Dallas Mavericks.
Houston drops to 38-38 and may have saw their season slip through their fingers. After a red-hot month of March where they won 11 games in a row, that magic has started to subside and reality is starting to kick in. It looked like the Rockets could sneak into the play-in and end the Warriors season but instead the opposite happened.
This team is still very young and will look to improve their roster in the off-season to make a playoff push next year. They are currently on a 3-game losing streak and will look to bounce back tomorrow against the Miami Heat.
