There have NEVER been 4+ teams zero games out of 1st place this late into an NBA season.

That's right, even though the NBA is more than 75 years old, new situations continue to arise, and in this case this four-way tie has as protagonists the Los Angeles Clippers with a 34-15 record, followed by the Denver Nuggets, Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves, all of them with a 35-16 record so far this season, that is, all equal in terms of games lost or won.
This regular season has had everything and we are only half way through. From the first edition of the In-season tournament (which is here to stay), going through extraordinary performances, new records and many, many points scored. What has happened at this moment is no exception,as it is the first time that 4 teams with the same game-differential respect to the first share the top of the Conference, an example of the level of competitiveness that the best league in the world has.
It seems unbelievable that we are witnessing such a particular moment, in which half of the pre-qualifiers for the postseason are in such parity. For the fans, this could not be better, since it guarantees a level of competition for the upcoming playoffs that makes it very difficult to make accurate predictions, with very close duels and no favorites for what would be the Western Conference semifinals.
Such parity could even have some room in the future for the teams currently located in the 5th and 6th position, which despite being 5 games away, are in very good shape at the moment. This is the case of the Sacramento Kings and the Phoenix Suns, who are enjoying a great present, having won 7 of the last 10, and have the elite offensive trident of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.
The fight in positions 7 to 10 is also very intriguing, the difference in victories that establishes who corresponds to each spot is only 1 game per position. In 7th place we have the Pelicans with 29 wins, followed by the Dallas Mavericks with 28, the Los Angeles Lakers with 27 wins and finally, in 10th place, the Utah Jazz with a 26-26 récord.
There is no doubt, we'll see a second half of the season with a lot of adrenaline, not to mention if Golden State Warriors manages to get on track to complicate things even more in a Western Conference that's an absolute carnage.
