We've witnessed a new edition of the Three-Point shootout, and this one was just outstanding. Incredible shooting scoring by the protagonists, all were red hot. Milwaukee Bucks'
Damian Lillard repeated as a champion, in a fantastic ending.
This 2024 NBA
All-Star weekend is being amazing, the league is not affraid to experiment and try new things in order to improve and bring more excitement to the show. The inclusion of the giant screen under the court worked great and looks great. This set the stage for the Three-Point shootout.
The contest was absolutely great, because almost every participant came on fire. It seemed like it was almost easy to six shot after shot. Representing all the Big Man, Karl Anthony Towns was pure buckets. Minnesota's forward caught fire in every round of the event and nearly repeated his conquest two seasons prior.
Trae Young also joined the party, Ice Trae had several hot streaks and was the other finalist besides Towns and Lillard.
And what can be said from Dame? Well, Lillard shot consistently throughout the whole competition, and by consistently we mean consisntently phenomenal.
In his final round, Lillard's shot was nothing but net and had an awesome streak of points that led everyone to think the title was his. He reached the needed 24 points to tie Young and had a 5 balls left. But Dame missed the first four shots and needed to score his last one to win...and that's what he did. Dame-Time with the clutch-three to retain the Trophy.
