The
Los Angeles Clippers forward
Paul George has achieved
yet another milestone in the match against the
Philadelphia 76ers.
In the third quarter of the match on Sunday, the 33-year-old
registered a three-pointer and with that, he has now moved into the 11th
position in the all-time three-pointers list. That was 2,222 three-pointers
registered by George in the NBA.
Despite his heroics on the night, it was not enough for the
Clippers as they suffered a defeat against the Sixers with a score of 121-107
at the crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
After the result, the Clippers are placed in the fourth
position in the Western Conference with 44 wins and 26 defeats. On the other
hand, the win was an important one for the Sixers who are still placed in the
eighth position with 39 wins and 32 defeats in the Eastern Conference.
George was one of the standout performers for the losing
team as he registered 18 points to go with three rebounds and one assist.
The California-born is having a fabulous season where he is registering
22.5 points per game which is the second-best by a Clippers player in the ongoing
campaign. His best outing this season came in the match against the Oklahoma
City Thunder where he registered 38 points to go with seven rebounds and five
assists.
