The
Los Angeles Clippers veteran point guard Russell
Westbrook mocked the
Cleveland Cavaliers after his team went to register a
famous comeback triumph on Sunday.
The Clippers managed to overcome a 26-point deficit and
registered a famous win over the Cavaliers with a score of 120-118 at the crypto.com
Arena in Los Angeles.
In a video that was shared on the social media platform X, Westbrook
can be seen mocking the Cavaliers bench after the match but it is not clear whether
he said something or not.
It was the third consecutive Clippers win and it was an
important one as well as it strengthened their hold on the fourth position in
the Western Conference with 50 wins and 28 defeats. They are now almost certain
to finish in the top six this season.
On the other hand, the Cavaliers, after suffering a third
consecutive defeat, are now fifth in the Eastern Conference table with 46 wins
and 33 defeats.
The star of the show for the winning team on the night was
none other than star forward Paul George who ended up registering 39 points to
go with 11 rebounds and seven assists.
Westbrook had a rather slow night for the winning team as he
registered just eight points to go with seven rebounds and six assists.
