Social media has been ablaze against the
Los Angeles Clippers after another team loss, this time to the Indiana Pacers. Many fans are not sure that the Los Angeles team, given their current form, will be able to do much in the postseason.
After an impressive stretch of the year in which
Kawhi Leonard,
Paul George, James Harden,
Russell Westbrook and company performed to perfection, they have fallen apart after the All-Star break and it seems difficult, seeing their physical level, that they will be able to react.
Following the result, fans on the social media platform
X—previously known as Twitter—questioned the Clippers’ capabilities going into the
playoffs.
One fan even wrote that the side would not make it past the
first round. “This Clippers team is definitely not making it past the first
round,” the fan wrote.
After the match, head coach Frank Vogel talked to the media
and stated that the result was ‘unacceptable’ and admitted that his players did
not play with ‘focus’ on the night.
"It's just unacceptable to lose that game," he
said. "For our guys, we all said the right things. We all did the right
preparation. But we didn't play with the necessary focus in this position
throughout, I would say, the first half."
After that result, the Suns are now pushed down to the
eighth spot in the Western Conference table with 42 wins and 30 defeats.
