Los Angeles Lakers star
LeBron James has stated that he is happy
with the team’s resources ahead of the transfer deadline.
The ongoing mid-season transfer window in the NBA is coming
to an end on Thursday as teams are preparing one final push to strengthen the
squads.
James was asked by the media about his opinion regarding the
current Lakers squad and whether he would like an addition or two before the
window ends.
In response to that, the 39-year-old stated that the questions
were not for him to answer as he is happy with the resources Lakers have in the
locker room.
"It's not a question for me,” said James. “I love who
we have in the locker room. And that's all I worry about. I don't get caught up
in that. We're going to go out and prepare ourselves every single night no
matter what it is.
“No matter who's out on this team. No matter what. So it's
my job and it's AD's job as the two captains to make sure we keep the main
thing the main thing. The main focus is now: Thursday's game at home. And look
forward to that matchup."
James is having an impressive season for the Lakers once
against where he is averaging 24.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 7.6 assists per
game.
