Miami Heat centre
Bam Adebayo produced a stunning bit of
display as he registered a match-winning three-pointer against the Detroit
Pistons. The Heat defeated the Pistons with a score of 104-101 at the Little
Caesars Arena in Detroit on Sunday.
With the game leveled at 101 with less than five seconds remaining
on the clock in the fourth quarter, Adebayo produced a brilliant three-pointer
and helped the side secure a much-needed win.
The video of that brilliant play was released by the NBA on
their official account on the social media platform X — previously known as
Twitter.
It was Heat’s second consecutive win and it pushed them
closer to the sixth spot Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference. As things
stand, they are currently placed in the seventh position on the table with 37
wins and 30 defeats.
On the other hand, the Pistons remain in the second-last
spot on the table with just 12 wins and 55 defeats this season.
On the night the star of the show for the winning team was forward
Duncan Robinson who ended up registering 30 points to go with four rebounds and
five assists. For the losing side, the stand-out performer was shooting guard Evan
Fournier who registered 18 points to go with four rebounds and one assist.
