Dennis Schroder,
Jae Crowder and
Giannis Antetokounmpo were
involved in a heated moment during the match between the
Milwaukee Bucks and
the
Brooklyn Nets.
In a video that was released on the social media platform X —
previously known as Twitter — during the third quarter of the match, Nets’
point guard Schroder fouled Bucks’ star forward Antetokounmpo.
Crowder then came into the mix of things as the 30-year-old stood
over the Greek forward following the foul. The two had to be separated afterwards.
Antetokounmpo later stood up and gave Schroder a bit of a
head butt in response to that foul, something that was clearly not liked by the
Braunschweig-born.
The game ended with the Bucks winning the contest with a
score of 115-108 at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Thursday.
The star of the show for the winning team was the point
guard Damian Lillard who ended up registering 30 points to go with three
rebounds and 12 assists. He was well-supported by Antetokounmpo who ended up
registering 21 points with nine rebounds and five assists.
For the losing side, the standout performer was forward Mikal
Bridges who registered 24 points to go with six rebounds and two assists.
With the win, the Bucks remain in second place in the Eastern Conference with 45 wins and 25 losses. For their part, the Nets are one position away from the playoffs, 11th with a 26-44 record, but far behind the Atlanta Hawks, 10th with 30-39.
