Over the last few months, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green has gotten into a lot of trouble for his dramatic and combative on-court antics. In fact, he has faced two suspensions this season alone. Because of that, he has gained the attention of WWE star Bayley, who thinks Green has what it takes to be a professional wrestler.
On the "Gabby AF" podcast, Bayley laid out why Green would work so well in the WWE, highlighting his insistency on breaking the rules.
“His ruthlessness,” Bayley said, according to Fightful.com.
He added: “We like to break rules, but we get away with it. We have to teach him how to break rules and get away with it or choke someone out and get away with it. I think there is always a place for someone like him, and an athlete like him, with such a big personality in the WWE.”
As of now, Green is going to keep his job in the NBA, but there is no doubt that he'd probably do quite well in the world of wrestling for a number of reasons.
Green is known for his dramatic personality and his physicality, both of which would come in handy in the WWE.
His latest outburst against Jusuf Nurkic of the Phoenix Suns, caused a lengthy suspension and received critical condemnation from all over the sports world.
He has only played in one game since the end of his suspension, a tough loss to the Memphis Grizzlies that featured 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists from Green.
So far this season, Green is recording 9.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.7 assists on 49.1% from the floor. Those numbers are stronger than his last few seasons but he has only participated in 16 games so far because of personal injuries and multiple suspensions.
