The
Golden State Warriors are going through an impressive patch
as they ended up defeating the
Toronto Raptors with a score of 120-105 which was
their sixth win in the last seven matches in the competition.
We are bringing you a list of some talking points which were
evident from the Warriors’ another win with
Stephen Curry,
Klay Thompson and
Draymond Green as as main characters.
Curry—undisputed three-pointer King
Stephen Curry has once again reminded everyone of his
ability to produce three-pointers at will. The 35-year-old produced 15 three-pointers
in the last two matches and seven of them came in the match against the Raptors.
Curry ended up registering 25 points to go with six rebounds and six assists.
Warriors slow start concern
The Warriors had another slow start in the match against the
Raptors. They were three points behind after the first two quarters but then
they managed to turn things around in the third and fourth quarter. While the
result came out to be a positive one for the Warriors, the issue of a slow start
can come back to haunt them up against more in-form teams.
Klay’s unimpressive outing
Klay Thompson’s performances this season remain a real mystery
for the Warriors. The 34-year-old had a rare start after producing impressive
performances coming off the bench. However, it did not go as per plan as Thompson
ended up registering just 14 points in 30 minutes on the court. It will be
interesting to see whether Steve Kerr will give Thompson another start or whether
he will decide to put him on the bench and use him from there.
